Nina [Disgaea OC]

Re-vamping a REALLY old charecter for this, but she works =3 Or at least I think she does. Maybe...Maybe not. (Sorry had to be done.)


Name: Nina Fiamata

Nicknames: Half-demon

Age: 17 Human Years/ 700 Demon Years aprox.

Hair Color: Black.

Eye Color: Red

Special Attributes: A tatto on her back. Something her mother painted on her in red paint everyday, telling Nina it would make her strong, she did this religously until the day she died by which time the paint had permenantly stained itself on Nina's skin.


Body Build: Petite

Personality: She's sarcastic and often tries to use words to get at people instead of violence, however, she is quick to anger and lacks the ability to think before she acts in most situations.

Good Points:Though she will rarely show it, and often denies it, she can be very compassionate.

Weak Points: She hates bullies and people who underestimate her, calling her a weakling for the fact that she looks human.

Biggest Strength: She is determined, never will she go down until she is out!

Biggest Weakness: Her pride.

History/Backstory:
Her mother, Resa, was a whore, in the literal sense. Finding herself pregnant, Resa tried taking a potion given to her by a friend to force her to miscarry. Needless to say the potion did not work, Nina came into the world, deformed, but alive.

Nina looked almost human. Without wings or any other immediate resemblance to a demon besides her eyes, she was cruely ridiculed. Her mothers 'work-friends' called her 'half-demon' and since the name has followed and haunted her (Though she pretends it doesn't bother her). She was teased, mistreated and generally abused unless her mother was there to sheild her from the unhappyness.

Resa told Nina that they where jelouse because Nina was so beautiful. More so than they would ever be. Even at a young age Nina knew they where lies, but pretty lies they were all the same. For many years Nina and her mother were happy, despite the cruelty of those around them and the fact that Resa was still a whore. Nina wore her hair long, so that her mother could braid it before he went to work, as she so often did. And Nina would pretend to sleep when she came home, even though she'd waited for her as she always did.

One night, when Nina was 16, they did theyr daily routine, the little thing that seemed silly sometimes. Like paiting the tatoo or braiding Nina's hair, Resa left for work with a smile as she always did. Nina waited up, as she always did. But Resa did not go to work, she walked past the other girls, still with a smile set on her face.

Nina was never told the details, nor did she want to know. All she needed to know was that her mother had killed herself that night. She never saw the body, never said goodbye, never even went to the funeral. By then she was long gone, and all that was left of her in the home that she had were memories and her long black locks.
