Name: Hana Mochizuki.
Nickname(s): Akira; The Guardian Blastia.
Age: 21.
Birthdate: December 19th.
Hair Color: Black.
Hair Style: Long, to chest.
Eye Color: Black.
Special Attributes: Across his back is a scar that happened as he defended a young girl from a monster triple his size, three large claw marks run down his back from his upper right shoulder blade down diagonally to his left hip which is not known about by most.
Body Build: Lean and Sturdy.
Appearance:
Hana Mochizuki 414147-yuri_super
Personality: Personality-wise, Akira comes across as not only sarcastic, but also very empathic to the feelings of others. He seems to enjoy teasing others, especially those he's bonded with and developed close friendships, becoming something of an older brother figure. Akira has a fully-formed personality. He is an empathic young man who prefers to solve smaller problems from individuals rather than the larger, more political ones. Growing up as a commoner or lower class citizen in his country caused Akira to develop a dislike for higher authority and nobility, and so throughout his travels he takes the side of normal, average people over civil powers such as law and authority figures like officers.
Good Points: Kind-hearted, protective, and analytical.
Weak Points: Empathic, sarcastic, and disobedient to authority.
Biggest Strength: His greatest strength would have to be his willingness to put himself in harms way for others. True he is told countless times he's reckless and quick to jump before looking, he always seems to pull through one way or another with everyone safe and sound. You could say that's luck, but as luck would have it he doesn't have it.
Biggest Weakness: Ironically, his biggest weakness is how rash he is to leaping forward before seeing where he's going. It's true he gets through it alive, but he's been almost killed many times for being the way he is and it may one day be the death of him.

Ryan, do you not know what "empathic" means?

Doesn't it mean he can share the feelings of others, it's like sympathetic but more like you can understand and feel the emotions of people around you? *Thought that was what it meant.*

Close enough.
Either way, it completely contradicts with the "cynical" trait you put on him. You either get a sociopath or an empath. It's one or the other, but not both.

But just because he doesn't like human nature itself doesn't meant he cannot understand it, but if I must choose then I'd like him to be empathic. Let me make the correction now.

Having empathy is when you FEEL the emotions that others feel, not just be aware of them. It's like a hypersense.

For example: Hisoka from "Descendants of Darkness." He was an empath. How did this hold him back? He couldn't make physical contact with someone without their feelings overpowering his own. Pretty wicked concept, but you have to be VERY careful when using this in an RP, as it's a huuuge Sue factor.

...

And you know how evil I am about the creatures.

Yes, I know of your hatred for all 'Sue kind. I can see how it can be 'Sue like because if you could feel the feelings of others it could mean you'd be able to know how they feel, but not actually at the same time. If I was to make the device on his left wrist suppress his empathic abilities could I then use it, because if not without the device he would begin to be overwhelmed by the emotions of other people around him. Big strain on the mind and what not right? Like sensory overload?
