Personality ;; Sydney comes off as absent-minded and sometimes just plain stupid, but any adult will tell you that she's a level-headed girl whose easy to get along with, even if she is a little hard to approach. Her sense of humor is somewhat cold hearted at times.

Biggest Weakness ;; She puts the concerns of her friends in front of her own, and is extremely easy to influence. If someone tells her she'd look cool with bleached hair, she'll bleach her hair. However, if somebody crosses the line she'll typically put up an emotional barrier for weeks at a time. Sydney will be the first person to hold a grudge.

Brief History ;; Sydney grew up in a town called Endsville, which was relatively normal until a woman named Edea Kramer was elected as ambassador. What Endsville did not know was that Edea was a powerful sorceress, and during her election ceremony she cast an enchantment over all of the adults in the city and killed Endsville's president, naming herself the new empress. The children soon learned that they were not affected by her spell because they were all in tune with a gift of the city called the "Whispers," which is a force that allows people to listen to fire as if it were a sentient being.

Sydney, her brother Simon, and her boyfriend-at-the-time Chel Rosenburg stood together and formed a resistance group called the "Patriots." Things, however, did not go as planned, and Simon and Sydney were forced to leave Endsville when their mother fell from their second story balcony, leaving herself permanently disabled and unable to work.

Sydney longs to return to Endsville. There seems to be something much deeper than what touches the surface between her and Edea Kramer.
