Demon Direction

"Hey, just cause I'm a Light Demon doesn't mean I have to have sunshine and rainbows coming out of my ass." Balik said quietly.

Hiruka laughed a little bit as he moved his hand to his side and sat beside Balik. "That is true, but if one of us is going to die in these woods then they should know the name of the one that killed them... I may be a Dark Demon but I still have some honor and morals." He explained as he began to lay on his back, trying to relax a bit.

She sighed and looked into the mirror. "Damn it Hiruka." She sighed as she was covered in a red aura and she disappered. She sat in a tree and watched from afar. She could feel the energy from the Light Demon and it made her hungry.

Balik did nothing but have a stern look on his face. "You know, for a Dark Demon you're awfully sensitive. You aren't one of those Demons who doesn't really know what side their on, are you?"

Hiruka laughed and looked up at the moonlit sky. "Don't get me wrong, I don't get along with Light Demons like your kind very often. Too stuck up and goody goody for my taste, so I choose this side because they let me do what I want without making me follow orders every five seconds from one official to another." He explained as he sat back up. "But honestly I don't see myself on either side, I'm more of the guy that kills anyone that he fights and only helps those he likes."

Rya grunted softly, pressing her arms up against her figure as she moved through the twisting vines of the forest. She flinched away from stray sounds, trying desperately to keep her out of harm's way so as not to spill the basket of strawberries she had initially been sent out to fill.
"Oh... How in the world did I manage to get myself lost...?" She muttered to herself, anxiously. "Uhm... Now what did Haiyess say...? Left at the big oak tree... so going back would be a right..."
She looked up at the sky, blinking. "Did I take a right or a left back there...?" A light whining, fake sob escaped her soft, little lips, and she ducked down, pressing her forehead against her knees. "Oh no...! I've forgotten...! I'm hopelessly lost... Why does this always have to happen to me...?"
Between the pretend sobs of her crocodile tears, Rya could hear voices coming from just up ahead.
"Oh!" She gasped, looking up. "Maybe somebody could help me back into town..." With that she stood, grinning with a new found hope. "Then I can get out of this place... It really gives me the creeps..."

Balik did not know what to say. He got up, his power now almost completely restored. "Then if I were to ask you to help me kill all your comrades in that shack, you wouldn't mind?" He asked with a grin. First of all, this Dark One really didn't seem like he was much of a fighter and second, Balik didn't want to be on his own in the shack full of pissed of Dark Demons.

Hiruka smirked as he stood back up to face Balik. "That all depends, are you willing to stop being a wise guy and tell me your name?" He asked with a bit of a laugh as he began to stop out into a more lit area next to theirs. "You really do have guts though, coming out here all by yourself... I think I would if you asked me."

Balik sighed. Why was a name so important to this guy? "Fine." He said. "I'm Balik. I've been here since the beginning of the renascence and have had to watch more demons die than you see attack. Now I'm going to that shack." The Light Demon turned his back to Hiruka and walked slowly towards the shack, his power now fully restored. The aura coming from the shack was something he had never seen before. It was extremely powerful. Solider Demons... He thought, looking back at the strange Dark One. "Coming?"

Hiruka began to follow Balik as he looked over at the shack. "Yeah Balik, I'm right behind." He said as he pulled his hands from his pockets. "So how were you planning to attack the shack?"

Balik was always a strategist but when it came to this shack, the best way to get rid of these Dark Ones would to be just to blow it up. He put his palm out and a ball formed in it. It shone bright blue with a small white aura. A beam blasted from the ball, hitting the shack with enormous velocity.

Hiruka smiled as he walked in front of Balik. "Now that's kinda boring, what did you even need me for if you were just gonna blow them up?" He asked as he began to cover his hand in black energy.

Balik put one finger up and said, "Wait." With this, the screams of Dark Ones echoed through out the entire jungle. Dark Ones crowded around the shack, screeching at the two Demons. None of these Dark Ones were cloaked at all. Balik summoned energy for a sword and grinned. "THIS, is why I needed help."

Hiruka laughed as he coated his hands in a black fire as he looked at the other Dark Demons. "I see, so would you like to give them the next move?" He asked with a smirk as he moved into an offensive stance.

Balik shrugged. "Do what you have to."

Hiruka smirked. "Finally, a Light Demon that doesn't have such tight morals." He said as two Dark Ones began to charge at him. Hiruka charged as well, slamming the palms of his hands into both of their abdomens. The second that he pierced their bodies the began to be burned alive from the inside. "They are so stupid... matured Dark Demons are too foolish and arogant in their years of fighting in packs like wolves."

Desdemona smiled and hopped out of the tree. She clapped and looked at the other boy. "You've improved alot Hiruka." She smiled as she walked toward the two. She heard a noise and turned as she hit the demon behind her. "No more honey." She smiled as she turned around to face the boys. The demon behind her began to melt into a sticky paste onto the ground.

Hiruka laughed as he pulled his hands out of the Darks Ones as the began to burn to ash in one of the most painful fashsions imaginable. "I get stronger everyday Desdemona, my black fire burns for the kill." He gave a dark smile as his eyes glew a brighter yellow than before.

"And my curses don't make me? It's been such a long time." Desdemona smiled when her eyes trailed to the boy. "Your scent and power is delicious. Who are?" She asked.

Hiruka noticed the glem of Desdemona's eyes and her misleading smile as he moved himself in between her and Balik. "Back of Desdemona, this one is with me... you can find another pet to play with." He stated as he began to give her a dark look.

Desdemona smiled and looked at the young one. "With you? Your alliance is with the light demons now?" She smiled.

Hiruka scuffed. "You know I don't get along with most of those stiffs Desdemona, but this guy is different. He isn't as uptight as all the rest of those goodie-two-shoes that are his allies." He stated as he stared Desdemona down. "I won't let you turn him into a toy that you'll get bored of in about a week."

"Who said he'd last a week? I give him three days. I didn't come to take your playmate. I came to remind you where your loyalties lie. You may be a rogue demon but you promised to aid us dark demons. Don't forget that." Desdemona stated as she narrowed her eyes. A thick red aura coated her and she disappeared from the scene to her lair where she opened a book bound by leather and she scanned through its pages.

Balik was swarmed, shooting and slicing any Dark Ones that happened to get near him. One of the nasty buggers grabbed him by the face, clasping on to his back. "Get bent!" Balik manged to breathe out, slicing the Dark One's arm off. It screeched and he moved his hand out and blasted it's face. He kicked the head a few times, just to make sure it wasn't still alive and began to slice through more.

Rya peeked out from within the shrubble, her eyes wide. What the hell was going on? She groaned in the back of her head. Well, so much for getting my happy butt out of here...
