"If that's the case, smart ass, what the hell are you doing here?" Desdemona snapped at Balik when another light came aimed at her and she dodged quickly, almost losing her footing.

Balik blasted light in direction of the blast, a screech coming after it. "I just came down here for vacation." Balik lied. "You know, catch some rays."

Desdemona was about to retort when she heard a noise in the trees and she looked at them. "Both of you... GET DOWN!" She shouted as she raised her arms to set a barrier around the three when arrows came down on them. She couldn't place it but this attack was out of the usual considering the two were with her.
