Coagulated Consciousness (Open) [ Shaman King RP]

Aya moved away from the spout which was further soaking her clothes.

"I might not know the rules of this school, but I don't think that you should be pushing classmates into the water fountains."

Aya looked up to see a boy in a different uniform from the other students. Temari felt his energy and she knew it was familiar while Aya took note of a hazy outline. The girls looked at Aya then Leo like he was pathetic or beneath them in some way.

"This your loser boyfriend?" One snapped.

Aya narrowed her eyes and stayed quiet. She was embarrassed and angry but she wasn't allowed to express it openly. She struggled to stand in the slippery fountain and she grabbed onto the side. Aya looked up at him.

"You can't speak? Then it must be true." The leader stated.

"He isn't my boyfriend, tramp." Aya snapped as she climbed out, dripping.

The other girls moved into Aya's face and Aya turned her head away. She really didn't want to fight this early and she was soaked, which drew the attention from the boys of the school in an unwanted perverted way. The girls pushed her back and she almost fell into the fountain again. The girls just laughed and started to walk to the school. Aya sighed and bent down to grab her bag from the water, on the verge of tears.

Leo glared and snapped his fingers slightly, using some of his Furyoku to bring up an air draft strong enough to lift up the skirts of all of the girls who walked away. This in turn messed up their uniforms from dirt particles brushing onto them; they shrieked before rushing to the nearest restroom. He removed his jacket slowly, sliding out both his arms before placing it on top of the girl's head to hide her face and most of her upper body from view of the perverted males.

"Damn, those were a rude bunch of tarts huh...?" He asked, almost to himself as he yawned a bit. "I'd also suggest you get home instead of going to school, unless you have a spare uniform." He spoke in a bit more manner than when he was talking to those girls, probably because he felt Aya's need to cry like a baby from embarrassment and anger.

Aya cleared her throat to hide the softness in her voice as she used his jacket to hide her face.

"Thanks... For the jacket, I mean." Aya whispered. She looked through her bag and saw that not everything was wet. She slid his jacket down off and she felt her face. Her glasses were in the fountain somewhere and she knelt down to feel for them. Her vision made it hard for her to see and the glare of the sun in the water made it worse.

"Aya, you can get a new pair. You'll catch a cold if you stay in those clothes." Temari whispered.

"I'll go home once I find them." Aya whispered as she kept feeling for it, lightly shivering.

‘Eh… what could she be looking for?’ Leo rubbed the back of his head to help him think, his eyes closed as if he wasn't much caring about her thanks. The job was done, and that's what mattered. It wasn't until he listened to her conversation with her Guardian Ghost before realizing she'd wore glasses before being pushed by those brats from earlier.

He leaned down into the pool, his eyes searching the waters before he easily spotted the plastic frames. From how he watched her, she had no clue where they could be in the slightest; this was due to the fact she was searching the wrong side of the pool. The young man pushed his hand through the water, grabbing her glasses and wiping off the water before checking for water spots.

“Let me see...” Leo said suddely, pulling her shoulder to turn her swiftly around with a flowing motion. Before he could let her speak or resist him stopping her search, he gently slide her glasses over her face with a curious gaze down towards her. “… if these fit.”

Aya's vision cleared instantly and she looked up at him. She only smiled and held his jacket over her shoulders.

"Thank you. I'm sorry to um... Get your jacket wet. By the the way, I'm Aya." She said, quietly.

She then noticed stares as her skirt clung to her thighs. She looked at the ground and pushed past him without saying another word, afraid she would make trouble for him like she had done for herself. Temari followed sadly, knowing the boy could see her. She waved and whispered, "Thank you."

Leo nodded to the tiny Spirit before taking a deep breathe, his eyes closed as he gained a bit of composure before doing his following actions. He turned quickly and with a loud bark of his voice he snapped at the perverts behind him.

"What the hell y'all looking at?!" He asked with a bit of ferocity in his tone, making the boys focus on him as Aya walked away. She was already having a bad day, no need to let this assholes make it that much worse. As he stomped towards them to shoo them off, the young man looked back with only his eyes to see if the girl was going to be okay.

Nothing is a guarantee; in this cold, cruel world...

Aya turned out of the gate of her school, looking at the cement sidewalk. She could hear that boy indistinctly shouting at the others and she kept on her way with other people looking at her strangely. They were looks of curiosity, triumph or perversion. There seemed to be a lot of perverts in this side of town. She didn't look up but Temari was floating behind her tell her which way to go. Temari knew that Aya didn't want to catch the bus. She led her to the gate of the house and floated inside. No one was home. Yoh and his fiancee had left for school a short time before she got there. Aya walked up to the bathing room and removed her wet clothes. She cleaned herself as the hot water warmed up her shivering body. She dressed in a robe and wandered to her room to lay in her bed. She hated crying so she just stared out her window until she fell asleep mad at the world.

Aya was starting to fall asleep when she heard a faint noise downstairs. She quietly walked to her closet to pick up her fans. She tightened the bathrobe around her and tied it off as Temari floated downstairs. She looked around and saw a man looking through her drawers. She turned to go up the stairs when she saw another heading toward them. She floated through the floor and Aya looked at her.

"So?" Aya asked.

"Theives. Two of them and one is coming up the stairs." Temari whispered. Aya nodded and slowly backed into the closet, not making a sound, she closed the door and waited.

Leo began to walk out of the courtyard a few minutes after Aya, his face having a bruise on his left side from a sucker punch given to him by a fourth goon. The trio, and their fourth member laid atop each other with swollen faces, and bloody noses as a sign of their obvious defeat.

The young man was already noticing he'd missed his bus, but there was something much more meaningful to him going on at the moment. Leo patted his black muscle shirt, feeling the gentle breeze which ran through him now that his jacket was off. That's when it hit him like a train to a car parked over the tracks.

"God dammit!"

That jacket carried his two combat daggers he used when fighting, which were consealed inside two hidden pockets of inner fabric. Distress brought him into quick acceleration, while realization helped by asking Ryuko to lead him towards the girl since mostly all Guardian Ghosts(Spirit Allies) acted as a "Furyoku Radar".

'Let's just hope she hasn't messed with my jacket too much...'

Aya waited near the door, one fan ready to attack the intruder. She kneeled down in the shadows as her door opened. Temari wanted to say something but there had to the slightest chance the burglary could hear her talking to Aya. Aya jumped as she heard dishes breaking downstairs.

"Be quiet! Someone could be coming and you're asking them to find us!" the burglar in her room said.

Aya knew it was smart to let them go and report the burglery. Aya the moved her elbow which knocked down a picture from the desk in her room. The theif turned and saw Aya. He immediately attacked and Aya had no choice but to defend herself. Aya cut him several times before she was pulled off by the man behind her.

"Crazy bitch!" The other man snapped as he removed the fan from her hand.

The other stood up and backhanded her, causing her to bite down on the skin her mouth. Aya bled and she glared at them. She started kicking and screaming attacking both men as best she could.
